Academic research has found that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information, so Magoosh’s flashcard app uses a spaced repetition system. Concepts you are learning will reappear frequently (occurring less frequently the better you know them) and concepts you already know won’t be repeated. The GMAT list is also culled to only 425 so that you don't waste time learning unimportant concepts.

I am preparing for the GRE and this app was suggested. It has really helped me solidify the formulas and concepts I understood but kept forgetting. Its been a REALLY LONG time since I took any math classes so this has been very helpful. It won't teach you, but if you have a fair understanding it WILL help you remember key concepts and formulas.

Great app. I'm cautios when it comes to 3rd party apps. Been using one or another Magoosh apps for years. No nagging ads, lags, glitches, or unreasonable permissions, not ever, not even one. Really, Ive come to trust is this maker and kinda feel guilty bc its all been free of charge and ads annoyance. Refreshing, rare, useful, well done: Many thanks, Magoosh! And now, bit by bit, at long last, it's as if I'm making up some of those math classes I slept through in high school- & enjoying it!

I was all set to buy a Magoosh plan, was following their study guide for day one which is download the Flashcard app. Amazingly, many of the cards are incomplete or blank. Looking at the review history, it seems it's not been fixed for a long time. Not the best first impression...
