WIFI On Off WIDGET

This WIDGET is showing 4 WIFI states :
- RED:Disabled (OFF)
- BROWN:State changing
- ORANGE:Enabled (ON) not connected
- GREEN:Enabled (ON) and connected

The Settings enables to decide if you want to have WIFI status SSID & IP in the notification bar. In addition, clicking on the WIFI status in the notification bar enables to toggle the WIFI state ON/OFF or to open the system WIFI settings, depending what choice you made in the WIFI On Off application settings.

Worked well and had nice functionality on Android 11. After my Surface Duo upgraded to 12L this app started having major problems. Messages pop up all the time saying it's not responding. Even after I choose to close the app it keeps happening. Worse, the notification in the notification pull down menu was broken so that as soon as I tried to open my notification menu the phone would instantly reboot. Luckily, I managed to discover it was this app. Last update to it was 2018 is probably why.

With the Android 12 update now it's more difficult to turn the Wi-Fi on and off . Now you have to pull down the shade and go into the internet settings and toggle Wi-Fi on and off. This widget is great because it is one step instead of three. When you turn it on it changes color showing the state of Wi-Fi and when it's connected turns green. When you touch it to turn it off it turns red. Very quick and easy to see what state your Wi-Fi is in. Excellent work by the developer thank you so much!

Really liking this app. My favorite feature is that it shuts off Wi-Fi if there's not a known router within reach. I always shut my Wi-Fi off when I'm driving around during the day since it wastes so much battery. With the latest Android this went from a notification icon to having to go deep into settings which is a pain. With this app I don't even have to tap it, it automatically shuts off and shuts back on when I get home or around another Wi-Fi network that I have saved. Android 13 Pixel 4Xl
