I am currently using this programmer's free application to record brainstormed notes of songs I'm composing to record on a different music making app. My goal is to find success in music and this is a ladder for me, so I greatly appreciate it. I like the clear sound and easy to understand and apply functions. I also like how I am able to pause if I need to and still record while closing the app and opening another one. Give it a try and you will like it the same. Best of luck to the programmer.

Simple decent quality memos with low overhead. Major issue: Can't change the save directory and it saves into your music folder, so you need a file manager. Minor issue: Editing doesn't overwrite original file and you can't make multiple changes at once, so you'll end up with a bunch of half edited files to clean up afterwards.

I recorded 3 interviews and only the first 2 mins and the last few secs actually has audio. Even with it set to NOT enter standby mode. I had to hit stop to make it stop recording, do I know it didn't crash or close. I checked throughout the interview that the app didn't crash and appeared to still be recording, and all 3 say they are 27 minutrs - 1 hr 12 mins long, but its SILENCE except the first 2 minutes and last few seconds. USELESS AND INFURIATING!!!
