You can turn it off. ha. no but really, I have mine set to only appear on notificatios and when charging. Can confurm it works flawlessly with Square Home launcher & Notiguy (cut-out options app) all with live wallpaper goin on. No issues and this us Not a high end phone. Plus I've set it to almost pixel-thickness as larger looks tacky IMO. Have 1 setup wuth only two colors (from my wallpaper) very slow pattern& the other a bit faster different directions. It all works perfectly.

This app is awesome. The lighting when set to display while charging speeds up when your phone is charging faster allowing you to decide which method charges best. Every phone needs the app
