The idea is great and this app can reallly be useful if you are trying to get very very rough numbers. I own a Pixel 2XL and in my case, the numbers were off all the time by 3 to 7 inches short. And I tried it on multiple clean, flat surfaces. I also used the calibration features twice without a change in the measurements result. If it was more accurate (two centimeters stated in the app seem reasonable) I would definitely buy it.

No clear instructions on how to operate this app. After watching the instruction video the app still doesnt work. Perhaps the version of the app is not compatible with a samsung galaxy 8. Anyway, i've wasted way more than enough time on this app and will uninstall it. There's never been a problem following the instructions. Its just when it comes to the end bit when it states its calculation the result no calculation is forthcoming. Justow long should it take for the calculation to appear?

I could not get an accurate reading no matter how many times I tried. I followed the instructions to the letter and rewatched the video but it was clearly off (4cm reading from app versus 25cm with a tape measure for comparison). I uninstalled the device but cannot find how to stop the trial clock. Was told to contact Google Support instead of providing a way thru their website. Now I fear being charged after removing it from my phone.
