It really works. You can pick any video on your phone and loop it as your wallpaper, with or without its audio. You can also choose how much of the beginning and/or end you want to skip over. And lastly, you can scale it to fit the screen by automatically cropping 2 sides. Or, you can crop it arbitrarily yourself. Unfortunatly, when you do that, it doesn't tell you what aspect ratio you're getting. It's a great app, but could add speed adjustment and ability to select multiple videos.

Super easy to use. I think my battery may be running down faster now, but that's to be expected and accepted if I'm running a video in the background pretty much 24/7 lol. The wallpaper reverts back to a standard background a lot. Like sometimes if the phone dies, restarts, or updates, but it's barely even a minor inconvenience. The app keeps the last video used, so you can just reset it. I think as long as you keep the original video used and the app itself installed, it's pretty great! 😊👍🏾

I have tried 8 other local file live video wallpaper apps, this one is hands down the best. It loads the fastest, doesn't squish videos and instead zooms into the center, and has very few bugs. Stop looking for others and just use this one if all you care about is local files. My one and only complaint is that I wish I could adjust the zoom in crop myself. The ads are fair, set 1 wallpaper, watch 1 ad.
