About this app

This App is used for outdoor Grilling and Kitchen use. The App is connected with an ACCU-PROBE™ Thermometer device (ACCU-PROBE-XXXX) by Bluetooth. The thermometer will send the temperature data from the temperature probe to the App of the Smartphone for various functions as noted below:
1)Thermometer
-Monitoring the temperature of the cook / BBQ
-Live graphs can be used to monitor and track the temperature changes over a short period of time. The live graph feature automatically gets initiated once a probe has been setup.
-Selecting different meat and taste with default set temperatures and customized set temperatures.
-The App allows users setup custom temperature alerts during the cooking cycle.
-The App will provide the progress of the cook.
-The App will provide notification (sound and / or vibration) to user when target temperature is reached.
-The App can display temperature in ℃ or ℉ and is user selectable.
- The App allows users save preset or custom cook profiles for easy future probe setup.
-Support at most 4 probes and end user can assign different meats and tastes to individual probes.

2)Timer
-There are different timers which assist the user for various cooking / BBQ functions.
-Each timer can be selected to work as a standalone countdown timer or can be assigned to a probe that has been setup.
-Count down timer is used to set a target time for cooking. When the timer counts down from target time to zero, the App will trigger a notification (Sound and / or Vibration) to user.

UPDATED: I needed to turn on Location Services for the Bluetooth on my Galaxy S9 to conn. Once I did that, it was able to connect to the unit. The app works, but has some clunkiness: if you change the temp range, the screen greys out and you can't interact with anything until you hit your back button. ORIGINALLY: I've a Galaxy S9, running Android 10. I can't even connect to the thermometer. Shows no devices available when I try to sync. App triggers warnings from Android that its crashed.

USELESS ON THE BLUETOOTH SIDE OF THE PRODUCT!!! Once connected via bluetooth on my galaxy s8+ you can monitor temps. But as soon as you go out of the app during cooking and go back in to the app to look at the temps it does not recognize that the base is still there and makes you go back to the base to make it discoverable again to view temps remotely. The reason I bought this bluetooth thermometer was so that I didnt have to walk out to my smoker ten times to check temps during cooking.

The sensor says it's paired in bluetooth settings, but the app doesn't show the sensor. useless waste of time. It worked when I first got it, but didn't really see the point of have the sensors monitored via bluetooth. I prefer to see how the BBQ is doing. The temperature sensors still works fine and that's the important thing.
