Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders and cancer - compressed, clear, up-to-date and freely accessible.
With the Internet portal Onkopedia, the DGHO has established its own instrument for the creation and publication of guidelines since 2010. In cooperation with the OeGHO, the SGMO and the SGH+SSH, content is presented here in a compressed, clear, up-to-date manner and freely accessible to everyone. Only the extended guideline appendices such as study results or therapy protocols are subject to a fee.
The Onkopedia guidelines are current and clear recommendations for the diagnosis and therapy of hematological and oncological diseases. The now more than 145 guidelines are divided into the following areas:
- General, basics
- Hematological diseases
- Solid tumors
- Allogeneic stem cell transplantation
- Supportive therapy
- Complementary and alternative therapies
In addition to the medical guidelines, the Onkopedia Internet portal includes the following areas:

Summaries of current information on new drugs with the results of the approval study(s), the determination of the additional benefit and the recommendations of the professional society(s) as well as documents on interactions and side effects
