Simple Classic is an earlier version of Simple app, which supports the contactless mobile payment functionality of OTP MasterCard debit cards and the Simple card.
You can continue to use all the usual features of Simple Classic app, but no new features will be added.

No matter where you have a bank account, with Simple Classic, you can use your mobile phone as a bankcard, for contactless payments:
• To enable the contactless payment digitize your OTP MasterCard or Maestro card. If your bankcard is not issued by OTP Bank, create a virtual Simple card via the application and top-up your bank balance.

What kind of additional services are offered by Simple Classic?
• Purchase e-vignettes or pay for your parking, pay your cheques
• Simple insurance for your car or your mobile device
• BKK mobile tickets and passes, bus tickets and passes for regional and local services
• Save your loyalty cards, top up your OTP Health Insurance Fund balance

Simple provides secure payment with any MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, or American Express card, regardless of the issuer bank.
You can also use your saved cards in the application for online shopping via SimplePay online payment service. Pay easily in thousands of webshops.

Parking
• Minute-based mobile parking. Start your parking remotely from anywhere and any time
• Pay only for the duration of your parking (you can request an electronic invoice after it)
• The built-in GPS will help you to find the right parking zone, or you can enter the zone code manually
• Restart your expired parking time easily
• Start your session remotely and monitor on-going parking sessions via your mobile
• The mobile parking function is available for any parking zone within the country
• Save multiple license plate numbers and start multiple sessions for more than one car at a time. Set a default license plate number or a favourite one and a zone for quickstart
• Set a location-based reminder so you will not forget to stop your parking

E-vignettes
• Buy your e-vignettes wherever you are, any time with just a few clicks. Request an electronic invoice if you would like
• Buy your annual highway vignette for the entire country or just one county. Buy your monthly or weekly tickets, for any vehicle category

Cheque payments

Mobile phone insurance: Protect your phone from screen damage or theft, Simple mobile insurance is available for new and used devices. Only few clicks and a quick screen check needed, you can choose to pay monthly or quarterly

Loyalty cards
• Store your loyalty cards in Simple Classic app, so you can easily use them

Money transfer
• Money transfer in few minutes
• Transferring without bank account number (between two OTP released cards only e-mail addresses needed)

Ratings and reviews

Works really well. Some website and Google apps reset when you try to get the code. With the Simple App, you select QR payment and it's quick and painless.

I used it for 4 months. There was issues sometimes, like the servers were not working for 1-2 minutes, couldn't validate my ticket, payment were not successful, etc. But on one of my important days in the school, it decided to not work. It didn't work for like 2 hours. I tried to restartthe app and the phone, reinstall the app, but it didn't work. 2/5 stars

The app has great services and would be definitely 5 stars if it was reliable. Unfortunately it's not. In the past month there were several occasions where the loading screen was stuck and could not even get to show that I purchased a monthly pass, and guess who had to validate paper based tickets while having a valid pass... reported the issue, waiting for an answer for over a week now. We'll see... Update: Still nothing after ~3 weeks after report. Now version detector broke..can't log in
