About this app

Nabla TypeMath is an android application that allow you to easily type mathematical symbols. It converts commands into Unicode mathematical symbol. Most of its commands are based on LaTeX commands, with some additional changes for ease of use.

For example, you can type ".x bar = y^2 + alpha.", and it will convert into "x̅ = y² + α". More information about the commands is available in the app.

This app work as a background service, and the service can be used in many apps such as messaging, chatting apps, web browser, etc.

This app also have custom command feature that can be used as a snippet to help user type faster. For example, snippets for name, email, address, etc.

* If the service keeps turning off on its own, try turning off battery optimization for this app so that the system won't turn off the service when it's idle for too long

The app uses Accessibility Service API to observe when the user is typing command keywords. This is required, so Nabla can process user's input and convert commands into math symbols. (Don't worry, anything you type will not leave your device)

**Edit: see the developers comment below, which supposedly fixes it. It could use an update though so it doesn't trigger by accident. ** Cool idea and works for test phrases. It is triggered by enclosing the phrase in between two periods like this: ".int x dx." . Unfortunately, it tries to format text that is just regular paragraphs, and removes all the spaces from it. Extremely annoying because now you have to go re-add spaces between every word.

You can change that in the settings, for example you can change the ''InitialString'' into "." and "EndString" into"_," so now, what you have to type is ".int x dx_,". As for the accidental conversion, you can undo it by pressing "backspace" immediately after the conversion. We will add more safety features in the next update, thanks for the review

This is great, works really well. I love that you can set a custom intial and end string. When you press backspace the stuff you wrote before will appear again, so you can correct if the result didn't turn out how you wanted it to be. Thank you so much, dear developers!

App doesn't work. I made you sure the service is activated and the battery optimization disabled. It doesn't converts the symbols or activates when I use the intial and end symbol(.)
