About this app

Ever wanted to simulate a natural disaster, a nuclear war or a zombie apocalypse? Now you can use your Android device to create and play realistic-looking mock Emergency Alert System (formerly known as Emergency Broadcast System) messages.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9000+ PURCHASES & REACHED THE TOP NEW PAID AND TOP PAID ANDROID APPS CHART - THANK YOU FOR YOUR PREFERENCE!⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you all for the useful feedback and acclaim!

✅ EAS SIMULATOR PRO FEATURES:
• No ads.
• Full access to the Emergency Alert System alert editor to create and save your own custom alerts without limitations.
• Convert the EAS alerts to video (uses screen recording and microphone audio).
• Export/import your EAS alerts as files for backup or sharing with friends with EAS Simulator Demo or Pro.
• Plays realistic EAS alerts.
• Schedule an alert to play at a given time (even if the device is locked). Ideal for drills, pranks or role-playing.
• Comes loaded with all the pre-defined alerts, featuring real-life natural disasters (e.g. flash flood in New Jersey, tornado in Oklahoma...) and also some thrilling fictional emergency scenarios including a North Korean nuclear attack, an unidentified nuclear strike in New York, zombie virus pandemics and others inspired by famous video-games and movies.

🚨 THE ALERTS:
• Backgrounds similar to the ones used on TV alerts (black, color bars, intermission screens, etc.).
• Static or blinking texts.
• Scrolling texts (news-ticker like).
• SAME headers (the beeping and buzzing sounds heard in the beginning of the alerts).
• Attention signal (single/combined frequency and tornado siren).
• Voice message generated by your device's Text to Speech engine (TTS).
• End of Message (EOM) sound.

📝 NOTES:
• It's important that you're satisfied with your purchase, so before buying EAS Simulator Pro consider trying the Demo version first and see if the EAS creator features work well in your device.
• Voice messages are not generated by EAS Simulator. Instead, the app uses your phone/tablet's built-in Text to Speech engine, if it has any. If your device doesn't have a TTS engine installed, the voice messages will not play, but everything else in the alerts will. The Google Play store has plenty of TTS engines and voices (both free and paid) you can use. If you want to use different voices in your alerts, you need to download and install a different TTS engine on your device and set it as the default.
• Exporting to video is a new functionality which might not work properly on some devices. Please be patient. Inform the developer if you have any issues.

⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES:
• Users with Android 10 were experiencing crashes when trying to schedule an alert. This has been fixed in version 2.0.
• The latest versions of the OS tightened up restrictions on interruptions caused by apps: This means that a scheduled alert will show up as a notification (instead of playing automatically) if you're interacting with your phone at the scheduled time. Clicking on the notification will play the alert. For better results, leave your phone idle, with its screen off: this way the alert will play automatically at the scheduled time.
• If you find any other problems feel free to e-mail the developer.

🛡️ PERMISSIONS:
• Prevent device from sleeping: To make sure that the screen doesn't turn off due to inactivity while playing an EAS alert.
• Microphone access: to record the audio when exporting the EAS alert as a video.
• External storage: to import/export EAS alerts as files.

Spent the money for this and then spent 2 hours making an alert trying to sync up the alarms. When it was done it worked perfectly fine. But when I tried to show it to people the speech miraculously wouldn't work for like 30 seconds no matter what I set start time to. I tried exiting and re-entering the app and it still wouldn't work right. If this doesn't stop I'm deleting it and getting my money back

The Pro version is really amazing. No ads and you get to play your full alert. I started out playing the Free version for a few months then after those few months, I got the Pro version. I some questions though, Anyway how to get more TTS voices? I really want to try the alerts with different voices. Overall it is good app but haven't got a chance to prank anyone. Don't worry, I will keep pranks steady so no one thinks it's real. Hope you had a happy new year

Hi Tyler. You have to search for "Text to Speech engine" in the Play Store. After installing a different one (for example, the "Narrator's Voice" TTS engine) you have to go to the phone's settings and set the new TTS engine as the "default" one. EAS simulator should use that one. Thanks a lot for the 5⭐, let's hope for a 2021 better than 2020! 🤞

The app is good, but one of my issues with is is setting the timing of the tones and TTS as it can be difficult to ascertain if the timing you set for it is correct or not. Since there isn't anyway to tell, many times, the tones will be playing during the TTS, so you have to do a lot of trial and error via replaying the same alert you created over and over again until you get the timing right. Also, another issue I have is that you can't save any custom alerts to your mobile device as video files, so you can't share them with friends and such or upload them to the Internet and there's a huge custom mock EAS fanbase on YouTube. I hope the developer can hopefully fix these issues and make the app more streamlined and easier to use. Also as a suggestion to the developer, you should look up Alert Ready, which is the Canadian EAS and possibly include their alert tones in this app too as it'd also appeal to a wider audience and if you also were to remedy the previous two issues I mentioned earlier, we'd also start to see a lot of custom mock Alert Ready warnings as well.

I know this is an old review but have a look at the new version (2.1) of the app, which is rolling out this week: after the app updates, you should (finally!) be able to export your EAS alerts to video! Alert Ready sound & background are available too! 😃Give the app another chance and, if you like it, maybe update your review? 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What's new

Fixed crash that happened when recording the alerts to video in newer devices running Android 12 and 13.
