with the free section you should be able to save to phone. and the app should allow you to place sections together, but it is lacking in a lot of the design aspects. however, for single sections, the app is OK.

This app is nothing more than I could do with a ruler and pencil, except with a $20 price tag. Edit: I'm adding 2 stars to my review based solely on the high level of customer service. I still would not recommend the app as it did not at all meet my needs, but upon contacting the developer they were understanding and after simply inquiring as to what I felt were the short comingsare of the app, they're processing my refund. There's something to be said for respecting the customer.

Makes it quicker figuring out how many studs you need. For what I use it for the only thing I have found that's messed up is after you put in that your using 2x4" studs, it still calculates your materials at 2x6" studs.... Not a big deal for me cause I know what I'm buying, just needs to be fixed in the app...
