Needed to find some studs for a TV mount. I've heard that there are apps that can do it, so I gave this one a shot as it's the best rated. Was suspicious of the developer's name; it's no secret that people use ad-infested mobile apps as a Get Rich Quick scheme, and naming your business "rich dev" isn't particularly subtle. So—unsurprisingly—the app did nothing useful, it just flashed ads at every click. Promptly uninstalled.

This app is amazing! It uses electromagnetic field detection to accurately locate studs, wires, and other hidden objects behind walls. I was skeptical at first, but it really works—especially for finding electrical wiring. The interface is clean and easy to use, and the EMF readings are surprisingly precise. A must-have tool for anyone doing home improvement or electrical work. Highly recommended!

Metal detector, period. If you want to drill into your plumbing, old wiring, subwoofer, etc...this will work great. As for seeing through walls, it detected my speakers, my old school computer chair lift bottom, my standing radiators, and a few other places I sure wouldn't want to use as a stud. I can't see through walls either, but it pointed me at one place I knew there was electrical wiring and my floor which was my downstairs neighbors ceiling light since the layouts match. Bad Idea.
