About this app

Calculation of the pressure profile in a piping system with a centrifugal pump, calculation of the system flow and pump pressure.
Determines pressure losses in the system according to the properties of the fluid and pipe: dimensions, pipe material, roughness, viscosity, density, curve of the centrifugal pump. It has examples.
Application for the design of Hydraulic networks with calculations based on the fundamentals of fluid mechanics: Bernoulli's equation, Moody diagram, Reynolds number.
Using the Bernoulli equation, taking into account the type of flow of the system and the Moody diagram, the factor or coefficient of friction "f" is determined as a function of the Reynolds number and the internal roughness of the tube, with which Iteratively, the pressure losses inside the pipe are determined taking into account the pump pressure and obtaining the system flow.
