1) In this Rotten Egg game there are 15 eggs that are set up in one row of three, one row of five and one row of seven.
2) There are two opposing players or two opposing teams in this game. Both sides take turns while rotating back and forth. Yes, this game can be played between two individuals, two teams or two different groups that are competing against each other. In this game, the person, team or group that is left with the final egg is the “Rotten Egg”. Hence the old adage – “The Last One is the Rotten Egg!” Therefore, the objective and goal of each player is to make sure that their opponent is left with the last egg. Each individual player or team can pull/remove as many or as few eggs from each linear (horizontal) row during their turn but they can NOT pull/remove from multiple rows at the same time. The person who is left with the final/last egg is determined to be the “Rotten Egg”. Again, each player or each team can only pull/remove eggs from one row at a time and not multiple rows during their turn. Although, the rules to “Rotten Egg” are simple and the game is simple to play for adults and kids, Rotten Egg is a VERY challenging, competitive and strategic thinking game. After you play Rotten Egg a few times, you will get hooked and it will very quickly become a game that you’ll want to play all the time. Are you smart enough to force your opponent to be left with the final egg?
