If you want peace of mind, the Basement Defender system is the way to go. The app will notify you at the first sign of any abnormalities (i.e., pump not working, battery not charging, etc.). The folks that support the system are great to work and communicate with as they are very responsive and knowledgeable. They are more than willing to help you troubleshoot any issues you may have with the system, first over the phone and if need be visit your location.

great when I first installed it, I don't subscribe so I manually test my pump every so often. However, a couple weeks ago it stopped giving notifications that a test was run. I simulated a failure by unplugging the main pump and no alters came through, so it's basically useless now.

Basic app...looked better when representative showed me on his phone.....worked for me 3 days...now says Invalid isername or password even if everything is correct....can log in on website with same credentials....uninstalled app and installed again and still cant log in.....after few days after reinstalling...app worked for few days and again cant log in....disaster.....
