Your PC's cameras, on your phone, with nothing in between that can watch.

Smart Security Camera turns a Windows PC into a home security camera: it records to the PC, tells people, pets and vehicles apart on the PC, and uploads event clips to your own cloud account. This app is the phone end of it.

WATCH LIVE
See every camera of your account, or one PC you paired by scanning its QR code. Listen, hold to talk through the PC's speakers, take a picture, record with sound, go full screen, sound the siren. Pan-tilt cameras, night mode and lights are controlled from the same screen.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED
Live video is encrypted on the PC with a key that only your phone can open. The relay that carries it, and the service that connects you, carry bytes they cannot read. Sharing a camera with family wraps the key for their phone; removing them changes it.

YOUR OWN CLOUD
The Events, Timeline and Gallery tabs read the clips and stills the PC uploaded to your Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, inside a folder only this app can see. Nothing is stored by us. A 24-hour timeline per day, every event with its still and what was seen, a gallery of pictures.

NOTIFICATIONS
Get told when a person, a pet or a vehicle is seen, with the rules you set on the PC. Open the notification, watch the event.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no analytics, no telemetry. Signing in with Google, Microsoft or Apple only proves who you are; your recordings stay on your PC and in your cloud. Pairing by QR code needs no account at all. The service keeps no video and no keys.

WHAT YOU NEED
The Smart Security Camera app for Windows, running on a PC with a webcam or with ONVIF / RTSP cameras (from the Microsoft Store). Android 8.0 or later.

What’s new

A four-step guide on first launch (reopen it from Settings → How to use this app, where the version shows too). Settings → Appearance: light, dark or the phone's choice — the live view follows it. Events and Timeline filter by people, pets, vehicles and motion and show each event's day in words. Ask AI from the middle of the bar on any tab: suggestions, the answer with its clips, Show in Events. Settings moved to the cog in the app bar. Tap an event for its clip, with Open in Timeline and Share.
