We understand that sorting at source is not the first thing you think of when life happens. But when you wonder what is sorted where, the Sortere app is here for you. The effort you make at the kitchen counter is important. There is a small piece of forest in everything that is paper, sand in everything that is glass, and often also gold in everything that is electronics. Sorting at source is about giving natural resources that have already been extracted a longer lifespan, and limiting the extraction of new natural resources.
Sortere is run by LOOP - the Foundation for Source Sorting and Recycling, which works to get people to throw away less and source sort more. All of the country's municipalities and waste management companies enter and update their local information on Sortere. LOOP receives fixed annual support in the state budget from the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
