Came back to this after not being on it for a few years, and my projects say empty, and I went into the studio to edit the track, when I go to save I can't because now you're charging us to save it, what kind of ridiculous and unnecessary change is that, I've seen crazy changes on this app, but that is the worst, this app was so much better back in 2019. At this point you're just trying any possible way to get money from us.

Amazing on PC, horrid on mobile. The streaming quality is very poor (crackling, skipping, bass popping) On the piano roll, the app often cant tell if you are moving a note, stretching a note, or side scrolling, so every operation takes several tries. The loops take ages to load and the app isn't fast enough to change instruments while your track plays. To those having issues downloading, I was able to export my files by going to soundtrap in my mobile browser and downloading from there.

as someone who has been making music for 3 years now, the web version is usable, the app, not so much, you can't place down notes in the midi editor, you can't edit the synthesizer at all, it is borderline impossible to select multiple notes at once, it doesn't know what input you're trying to do, like stretching the note, moving it, or selecting it, and it overall kinda sucks in the way that it milks the subscription concept to the very core. just use bandlab, its free and it actually works
