Split expenses with friends, with roommates or on a trip: Amy records who paid what and works out who owes whom at the end. No scraps of paper, no spreadsheet, no awkward reminders.

GROUP OVERVIEW AND SETTLEMENT
Amy offsets every balance in a group against the others. The group overview shows who pays whom. An example from a vacation fund: four days in Zermatt, 8 expenses, 5 people. In the end, 3 payments totaling €475.00 settle everything. You can also record a payment between two other members.

EVERY EXPENSE IN VIEW
Amounts, categories, who paid, who shared: sorted by day and filterable by category, plus a list of the group's activity.

The odd cent is not lost, it is assigned. Anyone who was not part of an expense stays out of it.

MULTIPLE CURRENCIES
Paid in francs, split in euros: Amy converts the amount into the group's currency at the current rate. Ten currencies to choose from: euro, US dollar, British pound, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Indian rupee, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc and Swedish krona.

JUST THE TWO OF YOU, NO GROUP NEEDED
Sharing costs with one person does not need a group. Under Friends you split one to one, and the list shows for each person who owes whom.

GUESTS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Not everyone installs an app. Add the person as a guest, under Friends or as an admin in a group, and share the costs with them anyway. If they join later, link the guest to their account and every amount moves across.

INVITE BY QR CODE OR INVITE CODE
Whoever wants to join scans the QR code with their camera or types in the seven-character code. An admin approves the request.

STATEMENT AS PDF
Settling a group and passing on the result: Amy produces a PDF with every member's balance, the settlement, every expense with its shares, and the payments. You can leave out the settlement, the expenses or the payments beforehand. The finished file opens in the share sheet.

YOUR BUDGET WITH FIXED COSTS
The You tab shows one month: what comes in, what goes out on fixed costs and what you spent on yourself. Whatever remains sits at the top as "Left this month". Add fixed costs such as rent, streaming or insurance as monthly, quarterly or yearly. Every month of this year and last year is one pick away in the month picker. Income and fixed costs show as they are today; only the expenses come from that month.

STATISTICS BY WEEK, MONTH AND YEAR
A week in days, a month next to the three before it, a year in quarters. Plus a ring of your categories. They count the expenses you enter for yourself. So you can see where your money goes.

What’s new

New in Amy 1.5:

• Keep going offline: add and edit expenses without a connection. Once you're back online, Amy syncs everything, and a round button above the tab bar shows what's syncing.
• Scan receipts: snap the receipt and Amy fills in amount, currency, date and shop. The photo stays with the expense.
• Spread the rest over the remaining shares with one tap.
• New currencies: DKK, NOK, CZK, PLN and HUF.
• Smaller fixes for push notifications and links.
