About this app

NFC Reader is a simple and efficient tool letting you to read contact-less tags on your smartphones and tablets. NFC Reader supports various tags like NDEF, RFID, FeliCa, ISO 14443, Mifare Classic 1k, MIFARE DESFire, MIFARE Ultralight, NTAG, ...

To use NFC Reader, you have just to hold a tag or a card against the back of your device to read it. NFC Reader lets you to copy the content of the tag or to open the URI. You can also manage the tags and cards previously scanned in the History section.

NFC Reader lets you to read complete dump of NFC tags.

I got it to work on one credit card. It would not read my license, any othercards, or ID with chips. I also tried it on a regular RFID product security tag. I'm impressed it read what it did, and kind of glad it can't read the other items I tried it on. A nice way to test your card and Id's, but I know there are more robust scanners out there that could scan everything.

With this app and any credit or debit card that has contactless paying, you can test how well or if the RFID protection works on something. Because if you put a contactless card up to your phone with this app running, it will notice it and notify you. And so, if your card is in a wallet with RFID protection and you put it up against your phone, then the app shouldn't notice it. I just got a cell phone case wallet with RFID protection, and thanks to this app I know that it really does NOT have it

For me works like a charm! I use only 10% of the app's capablilities - for UID quick reading of many rfid cards. I love it shows the number in four most common formats (dec, dec rev, hex , hex rev) without too much of other detailed info. I'd like to see an update, as the app is a bit unstable and crashes sometimes on my phone... maybe because of those naggy ads?
