Star Battle is a fun logic puzzle that is casual and pretty relaxing to play.
Star Battles have 4 rules:
1. Column Rule:
- Each column must contain exactly 2 stars.
2. Row Rule:
- Each row must contain exactly 2 stars.
3. Island Rule:
- Each island must contain exactly 2 stars.
4. Adjacency Rule:
- Stars cannot be adjacent, not even diagonally.
Solve the game by placing all the stars!

I love this game, but I cannot seem to get it to save (or really restore) state on individual puzzles. I can manually save state as a "favorite", but when I load that favorite state back and press Play, the board starts empty. The preview shows the correct starts and nots. Help? Also having the game auto-save state on individual puzzles would be fantastic. Is this a setting I've missed?

This issue is addressed the July 2020 update. Is it working better now? Have fun!

This is the perfect Star Battle game. Endless puzzles, you can increase the grid size if you want, and the sound effects are so cool! I usually play soundless, but sometimes I play with the music off and sound effects on... it makes a sort of musical meditation out of the game.

Love the game, as a whole, but certain puzzles have been lacking in uniqueness, and some I have failed to solve using logic, having to resort to chaining and bifurcation. Works and doable but not quite ad fun, guess that's what happens with generated puzzles, as opposed to quality hand crafted ones. All in all, good game.

Thank you for your feedback. The July 2020 update now has daily Endless Sea theme games. Endless Sea games are guaranteed to be solvable using legitimate techniques because I beat each one. Hopefully more games per day can be added in the future, and improving the CasGen difficulty rating system which uses legitimate techniques, but needs work.
