Ratings and reviews

The home "Swipe" page has floating UI elements that completely block your search results, forcing you to change the tab (and then re-enter your search input) just to be able to see what you just searched. Laughable oversight. Score will not be restored until the developers stop making decisions like this.

Used to be a pretty solid app but not so much anymore. Too much is locked behind a pay wall now when it wasn't before. Want to filter out recommendations for content you've already seen or saved to your watchlist? Better pay up. You want to sort your watchlist by how much the app recommends everything for you? Again, better pay up. I saw on someone else's review the developers said they "work hard" to maintain "95% of functionality for free." Yeah, no. More like 5% for free and 95% for premium.

Terrible. Spent my time rating some movies that I saw, then ended blocking all kinds of old movies and getting shown the same stuff. There's a lot of obvious movies that I never saw in the list, not even counting the fact that blocking or rating something is really painful. Half the time I miss the button. Edit: so after checking the website, it's so much better, the rating buttons make sense, the list is good and recommendations are good, so it's the app that's awful. Just copy the site!
