While most photo apps or Google Lens can scan QR codes, I sought one where I can see the entire URL before going there. This one allows you to share/save/create QR codes. Ads are clearly marked and shown at the bottom, and for US$7 lifetime cost you can purchase the pro version, which eliminates ads and provides other things. The app says you can watch 3 videos to get the pro version for free, but that didn't work for me. Great app!

I just downloaded the app tried to use it once and already popping up to upgrade to the paying version and I declined. When I scanned the QR code I need to find out about because it's from the post office about a letter I'm waiting for, it scans the code and nothing else. Can't click on it, won't open to a new web browser, in fact it does absolutely nothing at all!! Waste of time and all they want you to do is upgrade to the paid version in order for the scanner to properly work!!👎👎👎

intrusive ads interfere. often the ads are for other companies' qr code scanner apps. More than once, I've tried to scan a qr code but been unable to find the right button to do that and accidentally started downloading a competitors scanner app. I'm going to uninstall this app and use the free qr code scanner that is built into android. It just does its job and it serves no ads. I can't make a shortcut for it but it's just two swipes down and one swipe to the right.
