The unit self checks (sensors are field replaceable) but the calibration due date appears on reports, if I purchase the unit now in December, the calibration will be due in the middle of the heating season next year. With shipping delays, it is sometimes necessary to wait for calibration. I have a good experience with the TPI 708 and printed reports never showed the calibration state of the analyzer, to my knowledge no other manufacturer pushes this to the user, I hope they change this.

The TPI View app is a global app, hence the selectable regions. In the USA, because there are no regulations, yet, the View app will allow the analyzer to be used past the calibration date, even if these dates are printed on the reports. We firmly believe FGAs should be serviced and calibrated regularly. This is important when dealing with CO

Lacking a lot of functions. I love the hardware and it's a very good analyser but the app lacks a lot of functions compared to Anton and Kane. You can carry out FGA readings and pressure logs and you can generate CP12 Cert. But you can't populate Service certificates, Warning Notice, Reports, Visiaul Inspection notes... Things a GS engineer needs every day. For a Gas Safe engineer, it has Gas Rate, boiler manuals and pipe sizing which isn't often used. Everything else is bulk.
We're glad you like the hardware itself. The app is built to support core testing features for our 16 different instruments across a huge range of sectors and applications. For specific additional certs, labels & reports we integrate with platforms like Gas Engineer Software. As mentioned in our email exchange, we’ve taken your feedback on board.

Using this app with a DC710 and Samsung Galaxy S9. A good app apart from one thing... When you create a report, you cannot see the bottom half without scrolling down and it won't allow me to do this. However, if I save the report, then tap Edit Ref (even if I then cancel and don't make any changes), it will then allow me to scroll down to see the whole report. If I then exit and return to look at the report later, it won't allow me to scroll down again without going through the process again
