This 2024 test is designed to prepare for the primary and re-examination of a VDGO mechanic. Test questions and answers correspond to the professional standard “Worker operating gas equipment in residential and public buildings”
Before being allowed to work independently, a VDGO mechanic, regardless of rank, is required to pass an initial test for knowledge of production instructions and labor protection instructions and undergo a periodic knowledge test every 12 months.
Gas equipment mechanic examination test
A gas equipment mechanic is a working profession, the main labor functions of which are: ensuring the reliable and efficient functioning of gas equipment in residential and public buildings (low-pressure gas pipelines as part of the gas consumption network and technical devices on them, tank, group and individual cylinder installations of liquefied hydrocarbon gases, gas-using equipment).
The examination test for a gas equipment mechanic was developed on the basis of the labor functions of this profession using new regulations.
The admission conditions for workers in this field of activity are:
- Study of production instructions, safety instructions;
- Passing mandatory primary and periodic medical examinations;
- Training and testing of knowledge in the safe conduct of hazardous gas, fire and repair work;
- Operation of gas distribution and gas consumption networks;
- Design, construction, reconstruction, technical re-equipment and overhaul of gas distribution and gas consumption networks;
- Training and testing of knowledge of the rules for the safe operation of pressure vessels;
- Training and testing of knowledge of norms and rules of work in electrical installations;
- Training and testing of knowledge of fire safety measures;
- Training and testing of knowledge on labor protection.
