HIDDEN CODES is a mobile game from the Anne Frank educational institution and is dedicated to the topic of radicalization on the internet.
In a simulated social media environment, the players chat, browse profiles and react to stories and comments from other users.
The app enables young people to recognize problematic content or statements in a playful way and to react to them competently:
How do radical groups use digital media to mobilize for their purposes?
Which political codes and conspiracy myths are circulating on the internet?
What can I do if I notice that someone around me is radicalizing?
Specific topics and elements of right-wing and Islamist radicalization are highlighted in individual episodes.
