Eight lessons to prepare for the postpartum period and daily support for We accompany you in the first eight weeks after the birth: with midwife tips on postpartum flow, birth injuries and breastfeeding, exercises for postnatal recovery and mental support for baby blues and setting boundaries with mothers-in-law.
--------
We are the weeks and since 2021 everything has been about the postpartum period. With this app, we are not only at your side EVERY DAY for eight weeks from birth, but also start during pregnancy and prepare you for the postpartum period in eight sophisticated steps. You can also tick off all your to-dos in our customizable checklists and save your postpartum team's contacts so that you have quick access at any time.
Together with midwives, doulas, physiotherapists, psychologists and other young parents, we have designed our app to provide you with all the knowledge you need in the first few days after birth, without dogma or paternalism .
THE PEPARTUM APP PROVIDES SPECIFICALLY:
1. Tutorial for preparing for the postpartum period: In eight lessons, parents learn what to expect physically and mentally in the postpartum period and how they can prepare for it now. It's about planning food and household chores for the first few days after the birth, taming the administrative chaos, knowing that possible siblings will be well looked after and protecting your own boundaries against intrusive relatives.
2. Postpartum support a la minute: After the birth, parents learn everything about a current postpartum topic every day for eight weeks: at the beginning the focus is on physical challenges, breastfeeding and the baby blues, while the topics evolve over the course of the period Change time and provide articles on relationships, your own body image, difficult feelings and sexuality. The focus is on the pelvic floor with initial exercises for regeneration, as well as processing difficult birth experiences.
3. Advice from experts: In addition to qualified articles, the app also offers audio interviews with experienced experts: midwives, lactation consultants, psychologists, sex therapists, doulas, nutritionists and pelvic floor trainers provide information and practical tips on how to get through the postpartum period well.
4. Checklists for hospital bags, postpartum bed and administrative matters: The app is supplemented with practical checklists that already contain the most important topics and products and can be personalized by the user.
5. The most important contacts at a glance: Parents can store the most important contacts (midwife, lactation consultant, osteopath, etc.) directly in the app so that they have all the addresses and numbers of their postpartum team at hand.
EVERYTHING IS OK.
At the weeks there are no dogmas and finger-wagging, but rather facts and empowerment. We accompany you when you start breastfeeding, as well as when you stop breastfeeding, are there when you just don't want to lie down anymore and endure all the difficult feelings (and of course this crazy love) with you.
