Three Detectives is a popular teenage detective story series published by Seva Prakashani of Bangladesh.
The series began in August 1965 with a foreign story. Rakib Hasan wrote this famous series from the very beginning. Rakib Hasan wrote 160 stories in a row. Later, Shamsuddin Nawab continued to write it. [2] Shamsuddin Nawab is basically a ghost writer. 'Three Detectives' is the story of three teenage detectives.
The three detectives are not entirely original stories. Written in the shadow of various intelligence stories from Europe and America. The earliest books, in particular, are based on Robert Arthur's English series, The Three Investigators. Some of the books are based on Enid Blyton's "Famous Five."
According to a survey conducted by Daily Prothom Alo, the most popular story book for teenagers in Bangladesh is 'Three Detectives', and the favorite characters are Kishore Pasha, Robin Milford and Musa Aman respectively. Of the 450 people surveyed, 61 (17%) voted for the three detectives.
