My tv ks absolutely horrendous when it comes to using a traditional remote. Finding this app was a last ditch effort to not have to get a new tv (we have tried every universal remote we could find). This works AWESOME. There is no delay in response time when using the app. HOWEVER the adds are terrible. Also if you leave the app for any reason, you have to restart the app and re-sync your tv. All in all though I love it.

out of the 5 remote apps I tried this one was the best. not as many ads, no subscription fee, which is absurd by the way. I will say it didnt help with my issue, trying to access video setting menu since I cant through the regular menu. have to change my video mode for hdmi converter and just cant without original remote. still a solid app compared to the other predatory bs out there. highly recommend for standard usage.

Works so-so. Yes it works. Yes it has ads. Some of its functions don't work with my TV, like the keyboard. Now, the annoying parts. If you do anything else with your phone, you will end up having to close the app, then reopen it, or it wont work. The worst part, once you turn off the tv, that's it, it won't turn the TV on until you unplug the tv and plug it back in (my tv don't have a manual on/off switch, apparently that's becoming the new normal).
