I've had this app for many years. It's worked perfectly. I like it because it's local and it's been dependable. But ever since the update 2 weeks ago, this app has failed me. I'm not getting my alerts and warnings. Today, one showed up on my "hourly" page, but not the home page. WPMI channel 15 in Mobile has the same provider and their app is working fine. I even took screenshots to show it. We have a flood warning right now on the front of WPMI not WEAR. You can't report this from the app.

As a generic weather app it serves it's purpose. If WEAR TV really wants to go above and beyond they to add a tropical page. Viewers want to see the statistics, reports, projected paths, and all of the spaghetti models. Many people are traveling out of area during hurricane season and it would be great to have an app, from a trusted source, with all of the information we need to cover the gulf coast. As it is I have to use multiple apps to obtain the information I need.

Android App lacks any kind of support so if you have problems or questions like I do your SOL. WEAR does not/has not answer questions. Problem 1. App will not recognize home location....no matter settings for location Best thing is to find nearest city. Problem 2. If your desired location isn't second on the list..location will automatically switch to the second of the list....remember home location can't be set
