It looked like a fun game but once I started playing the game it was not as advertised. Not the fun challenges in the ads, it was back to boring ABC level. I couldn't find a good way to skip the basic levels and get to the fun stuff. So after going through several layers , i didn't see a way to move forward so it made l(ĹMM?? .

Hi Jasper, we are sorry for the issues you are experiencing. Nonetheless, you may have submitted a review for the wrong game: we do not advertise our SpellingBee game anywhere and our game has neither levels nor layers. Lastly, we do not understand what you mean by "l(ĹMM??". Would you be able to please double-check your review? Thanks!

The dictionary being used is horrible. There are a lot of very common English words missing and a lot of "words" that aren't in any dictionary, including the OED (words like mlle, tesl, etc). Plus the rules in place aren't always followed... Some plurals, past-tense verbs, "er" words are blocked, except for about 15% of them, so once you get used to playing by the rules that are aet, you start missing words. Horrible set up... If you enjoy word games, this one will drive you bonkers.

Hello Casey, thank you for the review, as it helped us identify a bug in the logic we were using to generate the list of words. MLLE and TESL are indeed in the OED, but they are abbreviations, which we should have excluded. We have now fixed the issue and released an update. Myself and others have written to the App owners requesting more common words to be added and the ability to scramble the outside letters in the game. We asked and they listened and acted. My wife was so excited when she saw the scramble button. Keep up the good work!! Great app..needs more common words.. maple is a word. Still enjoy it.
