Very useful when in your Wetherspoons of choice - can order food and drink and pay (via Google pay etc) at your table and be served there rather than waiting at the bar to be served. My only comment would be that it's sometimes difficult to REMOVE items (which are remembered) from the basket, and that items remain in your basket when making another order at a future visit. The basket should be easily accessible to amend BEFORE making payment.

recent update takes it back to a 4 as a number of issues were present. had problems ordering scampi as it wanted to know what side you wanted, but no way to enter it. Big problem is that for burgers no option is included to select side salad rather than chips so after ordering you have to go to the bar to get the order changed to side salad, defeating the whole point of the app.

Great idea for the often crowded Wetherspoon pubs. However, seems to fall short in a number of ways: 1. The drink menus aren't very up to date. There's a number of craft and cask ales at the pub that aren't on the app. 2. Drink customization. The Wetherspoon I frequent (The Forty Foot) is out of the "No Mixer" option if you order liquor. How can you run out of nothing? Also, you can't select Ice/No Ice for a drink. If you want to try that 18 year old Jameson, you better go up to the bar and order it orooerly 3. Wait time varies wildly. Sometimes it's quicker to order from the app than standing in the bar queue, other times you have to go to the bar 20 minutes after ordering just to remind them to make your order. Overall though, I like it. I have to still go to the bar to order a number of things, but the app does come in handy occasionally. They just need to iron out the kinks.
