Updated 2/2025: confirmed the developer has fixed the excessive ad issue. The app is working fine now. Updated to 4 stars. Original review 8/2023: Limited functionality as compared to other wifi apps. Ad's at startup and after almost every menu selection. Some ad's are forced-time-waits and after that they force you to watch a video. I don't know if they even have a paid option, but there isn't enough functionality here to be worth anything - too many good free wifi apps. Skip this one.

Excellent little tool, I love this app I can go from one end of the house to the other to check my signal strength, and ensure that my Wi-Fi extendere is putting out. After power flickers sometimes the Wi-Fi extender loses touch with the main modem, and I immediately can verify its functionality and signal strength. Very happy with this app. Suggest everybody get it. It will also identify weak areas in your home, Office or remote locations.

Gives you a live signal readout of the wifi network you're connected to. The signal strength updates every couple seconds or so, better than some apps that seem unresponsive at times. I wish it would update even faster but that may not be possible. Would be nice it worked with cell signal and other wifi networks you are not connected to. But it does exactly what it's intended to.
