I've been using this app for years and I've always loved it but recently my needs changed and I needed the premium benefits, so I went to sign up and I was literally SHOCKED at the prices. I think I paid like $20 for a year on my Journaling app, so I was expecting something like that. Maybe $20 a year or $1.99 a month or something like that. But no. It's $20 a month!! More than I pay for my streaming services! You are literally STUPID if you think I'm paying that! I'll just switch apps!

Hi Vanessa, sorry to hear that. Prices start at $6/month for the Lite plan (or discounted to $5/month if you choose yearly billing). It sounds like you may have selected the most expensive plan (the Plus plan) in your case. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us: support@inkpadnotepad.com

edit: I tried but with the tracking and the ai and the advertising on top of advertising on top of advertising I'm done. you failed. completely ruined a good app. I assume you bought it recently. I need you to know how terrible an idea "watch and ad to get rid of ads for 2 hours" actually is. wow. I've used this app for years but they just ruined it. A big dumb "feed" of stuff I do not want to see and a demand that I buy the premium version to even resize it.

Sorry to hear that. We're working hard to evolve the free Inkpad in away that keeps it useful for everything people normally do in a note app, but also providing a way for us to stay in business by expanding how Inkpad can be useful for people. To remove ads and/or the feed (and support indie app developers), an upgrade is always appreciated!

I've had to edit my review. What once was 5 stars is now a 1. It used to be fast, clean, and simple: perfect for a quick notes app. Now, it's cluttered with huge ads, buttons trying to get me to use ai, and limited number of syncs. I used to like the app enough to buy it, but there's no option to pay one, reasonable price, the cheapest option is $60 PER YEAR. I'm going to migrate my notes and uninstall. tl;dr Free version is borderline unusable, and paid version is ridiculously expensive

Hi Stephen, sorry to hear that. Larger companies are able to offer apps for free without ads that pull users into their ecosystem where they can charge them or show ads elsewhere. To stay in business, we have to earn our keep directly from Inkpad itself (the cheapest subscription is actually $6/month or $60/year, and supports an indie app company).
