I wanted to like this game as a fan of SRPGs, but sadly this game attempts to stand on the shoulders of giants and tumbles off. Disregarding that it does not come close to the excellence of historic SRPGs, it also does not even meet standard QoL from midern gacha games. Every convenience factor, from stamina potions to skip tickets for quick farming clears, has an expiration timer. In order to get global current with CN, rushed, out of order banners straining pulls with meta units at the end.

One of the best Mobile RPG Tactics I have played since Final Fantasy Tactics. It checks a lot of the boxes that qualify it as a great game. I love the pixel art/art and the originality of the characters. The gacha system is reasonable and not a cash grab. Definitely would like to see more updates as far as skins, characters, and events. Also would love to see more Tactic games from this developer in the future.

I really hate to do this. I desperately want to rate this game higher. The gameplay, art style, music, and story are all really solid. All that being said, I can't forgive the energy system and monetization. It takes around 16 hours to go from 0 energy to full. The free energy refill they give doesn't even refill half, and it costs a dollar per half energy. Full energy is only around 8 missions. To buy a legendary hero, it will cost you $30.99. I want to like this game, but I can't. .
