I wanted to standardize on usb-c charging, and I am glad that I did. Some competitors are still using 8v chargers, and others are using micro USB connectors, indications of their aging design. It took me about 30 minutes to add 3 blinds and a Bluetooth bridge, set limits, favorite, and connect to Google home. I wish the favorite position is available in Google home, and I don't know if this is an issue of Google or Yoolax.

This may be my fault but I ordered Yoolax zebra blinds with a Zigbee motor, realized my echo show wasn't a hub. So I bought an Echo Hub AND an Echo 4 and neither ever paired to Alexa or paired in the app. Scan function never worked. Eventually the remote didn't work either. And there are so many subtle differences in pairing instructions between motors and remotes so you have to try everything and pray. The steps were for pairing the yoolax hub. Nothing clear about direct pairing. Returned.

Requires location permission to connect wirelessly to blinds via Bluetooth. Not just approximate location, but the app demands precise location permisson ALL THE TIME, or it refuses to do anything at all. I'm not OK with this. Not willing to share my precise location 24/7 with some random corporation based in China. Uninstalled the app and will use my dedicated remote control and forego control of blinds from my phone.
