It does what you want it to do without any hassle. Thank you to the developer. I personally used this while I was kayaking on the Hudson at night. I set this to blink at a specific frequency so I have a light on my kayak for other boats to see. Very little battery usage. It gives you the option to choose the rate of flash with frequency or flash per minute (FPM). It also let's you choose how long of a pause in between flashes you want and how long you want each flash to be.

The first thing I see when I open the app is the app requesting that they share my data with 197 different companies. It's a flashlight app. (Reply to dev: the problem is not that you ask. The problem is that you feel the need to have such complex ads in so simple an app. There are plenty of alternative ad-free torch apps that don't harvest my data.)

The app and advertisers have no access to your private data. The law where you are requires apps to give you choice on the type of ads that may be presented to you. This is required app behavior to comply with IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). App is ads supported and displays one simple non-obtrusive ads banner.

Interface weirdness and bugs. Compacted to 500 char limit: B-language select ignored B-widget just flashlight B-play preview B-stop play and still playing G-edit with background G-preview tiny and not proportional G-options on both top corners G-remove down-right options G-instructions for slider to the left G-"back" option is odd G-1/2 and x2 pointless B-lock function, flashes starts G-color selection is odd G-side scrolling switches modes G-remove power button in the center

1/2 and 2x is for ruling out frequency harmonics when determing frequency of a rotating object, fan for example. Swipe left/right is the standard Android paradigm for sibling navigation (modes). Power button is for flashing LED, play button is for flashing screen. Please see user guide (main menu) for detailed information on advanced features.
