About this game

Mariage is a popular card game. Compared to regular Mariage, the game is simpler/more relaxed, as the game is not preceded by an initial raise on the outcome of the game. It goes straight to the game. You can set the names of the players, the length of time the opponent thinks, or whether a won/lost trump seven in the last stroke will count. The small app size is also an advantage, as the game itself is stored on the server (it is automatically downloaded the first time you run it) and only the client part is installed on your phone.

Main news:
- alternative themes (blue and red wine)
- betl & durch variants
- player's point accounts
- automatic completion of clear match
- card may be drawn out drag & drop method too
- course of the game can be displayed
- replay of the last game
- game export for strategy tuning
- possibility to choose from three types of card backs
- offline mode

A few words about the rules... The player who chooses the trumps (forhont) plays alone against two opponents. This player receives 12 cards, the opponents receive ten cards each. He chooses trumps from the first seven cards and then the rest of the cards is revealed. He discards any two cards (other than the scoring cards) so that all players have the same ten cards. The game rotates clockwise, with the next player in line choosing trumps in the next game.

The goal of the game is to collect as many scoring cards as possible - tens and aces - for 10 points each. Additional points are scored by playing a call, i.e. keeping an upper and a king of the same suit. Each call is worth 20 points, and in the case of a trump call it's 40 points. 10 points are added for the last stroke won. The scores of the teammates are cumulated together, the forhont plays for himself.

Players must follow two basic rules: overbid and respect the suit. A card drawn must be answered by the opponent with a higher card of the same suit. If he has no such card, he plays any lower card of the same suit. If a player does not have a card of the same suit, he must lay out a trump card that beats all other suits, regardless of their size.

The game is settled as follows: a game won within a hundred is worth one point, each additional ten points is for one point. A won trump seven is also worth a point, while a lost one deducts a point. As already mentioned there is no raise (re, tuti...), that's why the game is especially suitable for beginners who find regular Mariage too complicated.

Have fun!
