Species determination made easy. ID-Logics is the new form, types everywhere and easy to determine.
An app for all types:
Every day, animal and plant species die on earth worldwide. The ID-Logics team has taken on the challenge of making species knowledge available to a wide range of interested parties, thus contributing to species knowledge. Already during the development, pupils, students and employees from nature conservation associations, nature and national parks were integrated. All determination can be found in the roof app ID-Logics. We first started with mussels and snails and have now supplemented the species groups of bumblebees and spring bloomers. Further species groups such as woody plants and ants will follow shortly.
Easy handling:
The app ID-Logics has its own intelligence. It uses an internal logic to ask you specific questions about very different characteristics that are easy to answer. We worked intensively on this logic for over three years, testing it together with experts and novices. This approach has several advantages that can not be achieved by an analog medium.
Discover the nature:
Discover the diversity of living beings, where you want and when you want. Designing with ID-Logics is easy. Unlike most programs, the app works without an existing Internet connection. No matter where you are: whether on the net, on a smartphone or on a tablet. No matter which operating system you have: Windows, MacOS, iOS or Android.
The app has the following advantages:
1. Simplicity: The app needs much less and simpler questions, so it's quicker to find what you're looking for.
2. Interactivity: The app calculates the right question, offering only those questions or answers that make sense, thus increasing accuracy.
3. Assistance: The app provides support through short films in difficult places and thus helps in the determination.
4. Fault Tolerance: The app is error tolerant, i. with difficult technical questions also a wrong answer does not lead to wrong results.
5. Traceability: The effects of the answers are presented immediately, all steps are always traceable and changeable.
6. Comparability and Verification: The app offers through images and texts help for checking the found species.
7. Reporting option: The identified species can be saved via a sighting list with GPS coordinates, photos and other information.
