Your phone and receiver must be connected to the same WLAN router to use this application.

Perfect! Denon AVR-X4200W on a *wired* connection. App installed on a Galaxy Note 3, Blu R1 HD, Fire 8 and Fire 7 wireless. The Fires needed to be slightly modded, to access the Play Store. Make sure the wireless device is on the same subnet as the amp when setting up, otherwise the app might not see the amp. After setup, it *may* work on a different subnet, depending on house network configuration.

This app likes older equipment. I have a galaxy tab 3 lite that's super slow, but on this app, it runs better than the actual remote that came with the NR1504 receiver. --oddly enough, with my J7 crown, this app is totally unresponsive/useless. With my J7 skypro, it was glitchy. With my S3, it was lightning fast!

Great app but have to reinstal every several weeks as it is unable to connect to my receiver after some time of using it. Discovers the unit and works fine for another period of time after reinstal. Restarting the AVR, router or phone does not help. The app reinstal fixes connection issue immediately.
