About this app

MitID is your digital ID. You use it when you want to log in, sign digitally and approve actions in various self-service solutions. If you need to approve on your mobile or tablet, you do it with a single swipe in the app. To authenticate on your computer, scan a QR code.

Activate your MitID
You can activate your MitID in your app by scanning your passport/ID card or with an activation code from Borgerservice. If you have a new mobile, you can copy your MitID from your old app.

In the app you can also...
Check your user ID and change the mobile number you use for MitID.

Have a spare MitID
Having an extra MitID is a good idea. If you happen to lose your mobile with the app on it, you can still use MitID.

this is the worst app I've ever been forced to use. wasted 4 hours of my weekend trying to activate mitid with random errors and crashes without any good reason. if one step fails you need to re-do them all. and it seems like it has been an issue for years. unbelievable. Will try again tomorrow. Guess I have a new routine now until I manage to make it work.

Bugs all the time from a mobile phone! When I try to login to my profile on any website, there's often this message saying "Session cancelled - you have used your user ID in two places at the same time". Which is bullsh..t. And then I can't login anymore. Even when I clear tge cookies, close MitId, restart my phone. Same message. Usually it works again the next day, but what if I need to handle something urgent the same day??

i reallly tired of getting "you are already signed in" warning. for example while trying to get a criminal record, process makes you sign in for the different cases at the same time and you get the warning. system doesn't work in itself.
