We Pray to Lord Surya to shower his Blessings on all the readers.

This is a hymn (powerful Mantra) in glorification of the Sun or Surya, Who is
the Lord of this Universe, the god of all Gods, was recited by the great sage Agastya to Lord
Rama on the battlefield before fighting with Ravana.

Significance of this hymn.

In The section of "Phalashruti", which is also the part of the 31 slokas,
sage agastya explains thus:

25) Listen Oh Rama! Oh Ragava, scion of the Raghu dynasty, any person, singing the glories of
Surya in great difficulties, during affliction, while lost in the wilderness, and when beset
with fear, will not come to grief (or loose heart).

26) If you worship this lord of the universe, the God of all Gods, with concentrated mind and
devotion by reciting this hymn thrice, you will emerge victorious in the battle.

" The belief goes like ... when this hymn is recited for 48 continuous days (mandal), the
reader's desires are fulfilled" .

" The Great Sage Parasara in the Book 'Brihit Parasara Hora Shashtra' has recommended to recite
this to get relief from the afflictions or malevolence effect caused by Surya Graha
(planet) as per Vedic Astrology.

Wonderful app. It helps to learn fast. It would be much better if the following are taken care: I used Telugu script 1. Language & font size selection is not memorised by app 2. Highlighted display is fast moving in case of 2nd part of sloka, before we chanting 3. Especially in 31st sloka, it is moving very fast 4. App is not chanting last line of conclusion, after 31st sloka 5. Suggest to have 2 options in learning mode, one for beginners, with more gap between App chanting to enable the users

Dear Lakshmi, Thank You for your feedback. We're in the process of fine-tuning the app that covers most of ur requests like, to default chosen language & font option, last line issue. Also, we'll consider your other suggestions too. And, to learn easily we've already given word repeat twice option. Did you try it? May Lord Surya Deva bless you all.

Everything is good... Except, In language... You have provided the options... English must be in English, but - here, English is given in Sanskrit. Domination and Influence of a language in another language is hard to understand and also it's not good. Please change the given font for the language or remove the Raaga and Sound mixed in letters. Those who knows the language, they know how to pronounce & spell the letters in their language. Kindly, Thank you ❤️🙏

Dear User, We understand you. Instead of 'śiva', simple 'shiva' without symbols is more easy to read. But unlike you, for many who don't know sanskrit pronounciations, especially tamil ppl, who don't know many of sanskrit sounds, these notation will help them understand proper sounds as this is the standard. Pls check on IAST. God bless you all.
