About this app

LangTool is a front-end for the LanguageTool open source proof-reading program. It finds spell errors and also grammar problems.

Chose among more than ten different languages, enter a text to check and the program will send it to the LanguageTool server for checking. Mistaken words or expressions are highlighted and correction suggestions provided.

Ok, it works. A bit clunky, cuz you have to exit the active app to go to this one and paste your text. No prob. And then you get a choice to correct it to take it back to the app you were using. It'd be great to have a "copy text" button. However there's none. Long press "copy all" copies everything on the page! Like literally every word on the page. So, it's a manual selecting your text only- pain! I'd think it might be an easy fix with a "copy text" button. I may be wrong.

Only app I've found that effectively checks German grammar, it has 25 languages and there are different dialects eg. Canadian vs American vs British English or German vs Austrian vs Swedish German. It includes short explanations and possible fixes, definitely would recommend.

Really like what it does. Desctop works a bit better than the app though. Would love for some of the clean workflow of the desctop plugin to be added to the mobile app This being the amount of suggestions for a Grammer fix And the live updates and suggestions over the clicking of links and clicking check all But all and all really happy using it
