Nature Storytelling at Sever do Vouga meets the qualification and appreciation of the territory, interpreting the nature, culture and historical past of Sever do Vouga, in the “Cycling & Walking” typology, of the Valorizar -Turismo do Interior Program.

It focuses on the requalification of the old section of the former trolley line of the Minas do Braçal ruins complex, also called the old American Train line, for a pedestrian/cycling route, as a complementary section connecting the Ecopista do Vouga and the valorization and interpretation of this, through the storytelling of industrial, natural and social heritage.

Its purpose is to create value for tourist activity, in these two points of tourist interest in the territory of Sever do Vouga, aiming to increase local, regional and national attractiveness. The biggest challenge is to associate the practice of outdoor sports with knowledge of industrial, historical and cultural heritage, through the telling of stories, some documented and others reported through oral testimonies.
