Upon activation, a call is connected to the receiver, and the app transmits the user’s exact location and other relevant information. This data, combined with pre-entered instructions in the Skyresponse system, provides the operator with a clear picture of the situation and the necessary response measures. Additional features such as pre recorded voice messages, timer alarms for lone workers, assistance alarm to colleagues are included as well. Unlike other apps that send alarms to friends, Skyresponse:alarm typically sends alarms to a response center via the Skyresponse system. For a list of professional response centers that support Skyresponse products, please contact Skyresponse.

To use Skyresponse:alarm, users need an account on the Skyresponse server, where they can add their profile and instructions for when an alarm is triggered. The app uses the phone’s GPS and other location services to track the user’s exact location, providing continuous updates and a history of previous locations to the response center while the alarm is active.
