The Photographic Monitoring of Pollinating Insects (Spipoll) is a participatory science project open to all, supported by the National Museum of Natural History and the Office for Insects and their Environment.
With this application, you will be able to participate directly from your smartphone and make a real photo safari, at the bottom of your home!
How to participate ?
You choose a flowering plant, where you want, when you want.
You launch the application, then follow the instructions, and off you go for 20 minutes of photographic observation with your nose in the flowers!
Once the 20 minutes have passed, you will be able to sort and crop the photos, identify the insects and send your observations, directly in the application. To do this, if you have not already done so, you create an account at www.spipoll.org.
Lo and behold, you then contributed to a large-scale scientific project, carried out by the National Museum of Natural History and the Office for Insects and their Environment.
For more information, see all the contributions published since 2010, participate in the life of the program by commenting and participating in the validation of identifications, go to www.spipoll.org!
