About this app

The Yamaha R1M, or shortly R1, is an open class sport bike, or superbike, motorcycle made by Yamaha from 1998 through the present. After redesigning the Genesis engine, Yamaha launched the Yamaha R1M to create a more compact engine by raising the gearbox input shaft and allowing the gearbox output shaft to be placed beneath it.

The Yamaha R1M remains the pinnacle of Yamaha supersport motorcycles, and short of grabbing one of Valentino Rossi’s old MotoGP bikes, this is the most performance you can have with the tuning forks logo. For 2018, Yamaha has left the driveline the same – most of us would be happy with figures of 197bhp and 112Nm from a crossplane four-cylinder motor – but upgraded the electronics package. Therefore, in addition to the 6-axis IMU, which controls traction control, ABS, slide control, lift control, and launch control, the Yamaha R1M gets Ohlins semi-active suspension which adjusts the compression and rebound on the go, depending upon the feedback it receives from the sensors. It is called the Ohlins Smart EC 2ERS. It gets an updated quickshifter that now allows it clutchless downshifts as well.

A new color scheme will debut on the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1M, called ‘Silver Blu Carbon.’ At the centennial EICMA motorcycle show, Yamaha officially unveiled a new generation of Yamaha R1M. It is similar to MotoGP's 2005–Present YZR M1. Yamaha claims a wet weight of 199 kg (439 lb). The new bike has an electronics package that includes a sophisticated Traction Control (TCS) and Slide Control System (SCS), anti-wheelie Lift Control System (LIF), linked antilock brakes, Launch Control System (LCS), Quick Shift System (QSS), and selectable power modes. The Slide Control System on the Yamaha R1M is the first on a production motorcycle. Information is fed to the bike through a six-axis gyro (Inertial measurement unit) and other sensors over 100 times a second.

Please choose your desired Yamaha R1M wallpaper and set it as a lock screen or home screen to give your phone an outstanding appearance.
