App connects very fast which is a great upgrade over the masterbuilt. It struggles with PID control algorithms when controlling temp. I've gotten around it but requires a lot more attention than it used to with the stock stuff. After talking with them, they have not released a specific PID for masterbuilt gravity series so that could be the reason for the issues.

This app used to be great. I was able to access the temps from my phone when I ran to the store and was away from the house. Now, I can't even check the temps at home on the same network. I have tried updating, and no luck. I can't refresh the summary of the session so it stays blank. I have to go out and check the screen on the board. I get technology changes and upgrades, but I have zero interest in buying this brand again because it has stopped working.

I have used a fireboard drive for years and now the pulse. It's been rock solid until recently. The app is not intuitive. Adding the pulse is basically useless on the dashboard summary tab. You can't scroll down far enough to see the external temp from the pulse. The pulse device is off 40-50 degrees on the ambient sensor. Company started off amazing and ive been a huge fan, but over time, they seem to have lost their way both in device quality and app functionality. It's too bad.
