About this app
BirdScout is an application for Italian birdwatchers.
Find out where you can observe birds in your province and share your sightings with other observers!
MAIN FEATURES
* updated information on the latest sightings in Italy
* a list of HotSpots, places where you can observe particular birds
* a specific sheet for each species, with photos, information and latest sightings
* a tab dedicated to each location, with a map, the possibility of starting the navigator to reach it and the latest sightings
* customize the downloaded data by activating a geographical filter on the provinces of interest
SPECIES SHEET
For each species present in BirdScout it is possible to view a general sheet containing:
* a representative image
* the scientific name
* observation statistics on Italian territory
* a link to the detailed entry on Wikipedia
Furthermore, the "Latest sightings" tab is also available, from which it is possible to trace where it was observed in your favorite places and in all other Italian locations.
The list of locations is sorted by date, from most recent to oldest observations.
You can choose whether to add or remove the species to favorites, to be updated on the latest recorded sightings.
